soever ye desire, when ye pray,
believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark

Confession for Bible Teachers

The Bible teaches that our words
affect our lives.
The
following confession is good to speak over yourself if you preach or
teach God's Word. I have found that taking time to say this confession
in my prayer time before preaching makes an incredible difference in
ministering God's Word
The following confession is good to speak over yourself if you preach or teach God's Word. I have found that taking time to say this confession in my prayer time before preaching makes an incredible difference in ministering God's Word
According to the Word of God, the Lord Eternal has given me an instructed tongue, the tongue of a learned disciple, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary. He wakens me morning by morning; He wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The sovereign Lord has opened my ears to hear.
God has placed His Spirit upon me and His Word in my mouth. My heart overflows and is stirred by a noble theme. I recite my verses as to a king. My tongue is the pen of a skilful, ready writer.
With my mouth I speak words of wisdom; the utterance and meditation of my heart will give understanding.
I have received a gift from God, and I use it to serve and help others, being faithful to administer God’s grace. When I speak, I do it as one speaking the very words of God.
Father I ask that you will give me utterance, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel
